Antonio Borghi


Graduated in Architecture at the Technische Universitaet Darmstadt I am a practising Architect based in Milan. Besides professional activity I have been teaching in the Town Planning Institute of the Stuttgart University (SI Uni Stuttgart) and at the Politecnico di Milano where I earned a PhD in Urban Projects and Policies.

Between 2003 and 2009 I was elected member of the Executive Board of the Architects’ Chamber of Milan. Regularly contributing to architectural and town planning publications  in Italy and abroad, since 2004 I am Chairman of the Work Group Urban Issues of the Architects’ Council of Europe ACE-CAE.

For the contribution to the Hous-es Network between 2005 and 2007 I’ve been acknowledged as Thematic Experts in Urban Regeneration by the URBACT Programme. Currently I am Lead Expert for the implementation phase of the URBACT Links Network and Coordinator of Workstream 6 of the 2012 URBACT Capitalisation process about Building Energy Efficiency in European Cities.
